Network Rail NRDD System Design Support

Navitas were engaged by Network Rail Design Delivery to undertake traction system modelling for a wide range of projects including:

• Norwich in Ninety (25kV a.c.) – Assessment of the impact of timetable and rolling stock changes on the traction power supply system to achieve an improved journey time between Norwich and London;

• North West Electrification Programme (25 kV a.c.) – Assessment of the impact of the proposed December 2019 timetable on the traction power system;

• Merseyrail (750V d.c. & 11kV) – Assessment of the new Stadler rolling stock and proposed timetable on the d.c. and 3 phase a.c.traction system).
