Navitas Engineering was appointed by Network Rail to lead the technical development of the new Network Rail Specification for 750 V d.c. Switchgear (NR/L2/ELP/27730). The purpose of this document is to define the specific requirements for Network Rail’s 750 V d.c. switchgear. This appointment required a high level of detailed technical work and the management of key stakeholder input. The specification was published by Network Rail in June 2017.
